The Design-Build delivery model has enjoyed a significant resurgence in popularity, consisting of about 40% of non-residential construction projects in 2012. With its origins in the master builder model, Design-Build delivery typically aids in both financing and timeline to completion.
Jefferson Community College employed this model lead by Purcell Construction Company with Mach Architecture to achieve a 14-month timeline from concept to keys for East Hall, the new 294-bed residence hall. Nearing completion, we are putting the final touches on this state-of-the-art facility this summer.
